Eyelash Technician Program Overview

50 Hours

Requirements for Graduating: Completion of 50 class hours with passing grades 15 hours total of Theory; 35 hours of Clinical

Covering Classic and Volume eyelash extension applications.
Anatomy & Physiology

4 hours

Covering the anatomy of the eye, functions of the eyes, and eyelash growth cycle.
Pathology, Infection Control, and Sanitation

6 hours

Covering heath and safety in the work place. Covering types of bacteria and infectious diseases of the eye, Infection prevention, OSHA standards, EPA standards, and sanitation.
Client Consultation & Preparation

1 hour

Covering initial eyelash consultation with client and preparation prior to conducting the eyelash extension services.
Body Mechanics

1 hour

Covering correct posture while administrating eyelash extension application and work place set up.
Lash Bonding and Effective Bonding Tips

2 hours

Covering eyelash extension application preparation and correct bonding techniques.
Eyelash Extension Application Procedures

22 hours

Hands on demonstration on correct eyelash extension applications.
Eyelash Extension Isolation and Separation

5.5 hours

Hands on demonstration on correct eyelash isolation of each natural eyelash and correct separation of each natural eyelash without damage the natural eyelash and causing discomfort to the client.
Art of Framing

5.5 hours

Hands on demonstration of eyelash extension artistry and styling with classic and volume technique applications.

  • *Notice

    Students will receive a certificate of completion upon successfully completing 50 hours of the program with a passing grade.

    Upon completion of the program the students may obtain a Connecticut State Eyelash Technician License through the State of Connecticut.
