Safety and Sanitation

Learn about Transmissions of Infection and Infection Control.
Artificial Nail Techniques
25 hours
Nail Maintenance and Enhancements. Overview of gels, acrylic, and dip powder.
First-Aid
2.5 hours
Basic electrical and chemical safety precautions. Understanding First-Aid guidelines for accidents.
Basic Manicuring and Pedicuring
40 hours
Nail Natural Products, Tools, Supplies, and Equipment for manicuring and pedicuring.
Professional Ethics/Salon Management/State Laws
Understanding of basic salon communication and human relations. Client Consultation and Preparation.
Practical Examinations - Hygiene and Anatomy
10 hours
Understanding the building blocks of the human body.

Students will receive a certificate of completion upon successfully completing 100 hours of the program with a passing grade.
Upon completion of the program the students may obtain a Connecticut State Nail Technician License through the State of Connecticut.
